Pemmikan is an energy feed block, which contails approx. 6000 Kcal/Kg.
Pemmikan makes it possible to give your working dog a needed energy boost just before a demanding task without overfilling the dogs stomach.

Pemmikan energy bar was specialy formulated for working dogs such as gundogs, sledge dogs and working police dogs.
It is now used world wide for trialing dogs too.

The maximum daily ration needed is 100 to 200 grams depending on the size of the dog and its activity. If the dog is full of Energy, it keeps out the adverse effects of the cold and heat which helps keep its performance constant throughout the day. As a plus, it is far more attentive.

Pemmikan reduces the stress dogs encounter in dog shows and other similar situations, such as long waiting periods. It also makes the handling of the dog easier.

The effect of Pemmikan energy feed block sets in after approximately 30 minutes and it reaches its full effect after approx. one hour. Because of this, it may be advantageous to split the daily ration into several small portions to keep a constant performance.

The Pemmikan energy feel block is divided into eight 50gm squares similar to a bar of chocolate for ease of field feeding.
Each bar contains 400 grams.

Hi,

Our flyball team dogs seem to be improving in consistancy since late summer. Since August, we have come first four times out of five tournaments, beating every team in the division outright (we came second in the other tournament due to the stoney ground). Becoming top seed of the UK in September with 17.50 secs out of 200 teams.

To be honest, luck (or should I say Pemmikan) is on our side, when the weather turns bad; colder and wetter the better! We seem to be just as fast in the last race of the day in comparision to the first.
We couldn't believe it, when we raced during the "bad wet weather of May/June" we did our best performance of the year to that date at the European Flyball Championships. We won, (what should have been a very close division due to the seed times), quite easily - beating EVERY team we raced. It was constantly raining, the dogs were drowned/soggy (literally the owners looked like they had a bucket of water chucked over them!), the ground condition was mud/soft - but our dogs thrived on it!
All of the dogs were fed on Pemmikan through the day. Compared to the rest of the teams we met who do not use it, our dogs stamina were second to none. Our fastest time of the day (which we did against the last team when the pressure was on), was faster than the winners of the division above us.

The dogs just to seem to bounce back in the afternoon's so well; alert, stress free (being around the ring gets them usually so worked up, they dehydrate/loose energy very quickly when the adrenaulin kicks in).

I'm pleased that I can obtain for the club pemmikan/salmon oil directly from the uk's ebay, through one of your distributors.

We are racing up north at the weekend; inside a horse racing arena that is laid with turf, especially for us to race on. The ground conditions outside aren't good to race on this time of year obviously, but it is more taxing on the dogs as they have to battle with venues that are colder on the inside than it it is outdoors eg. air field hangers / riding arena's.
